CANCELLATION POLICY AND REGULATIONS

Cancellation Policy

Camping:  

A deposit of 50% of the amount of your stay plus an administration fee of $5.00 is required to validate your reservation.

A change can be made in your reservation with a notification of at least 5 days prior to your arrival date, either to change the arrival date or to change the length of your stay.  A fee of $15.00 plus tax (per site) will be charged to your credit card to affect these changes.

 To cancel :  – must be 5 full days prior to the arrival date – the total deposit minus a fee of $15.00 plus tax will be reimbursed.  Example:  5 full days advance notice   arrival Friday- you have until midnight the Saturday before to change or cancel your reservation.  

                         – less than 5 days prior to arrival date- the deposit will not be refunded   Example: Cancelling on Sunday or any day thereafter for a Friday arrival = less than 5 full days 

– No show without notices or cancellation on the same day as your reservation

The total amount for your reservation will be charged with no refund available.  The site will be held for you until 11 am the following day and after which, your reservation will be cancelled, and the site will be available for rental.

On arrival, the total amount must be paid with no possibility of a refund should you decide to leave earlier than foreseen.    Please note:  No refund will be given if for any unforeseen circumstance that may cause the administration to reduce access to any camping facility, (Pool, water park, playpark, pond, laundry etc.)

Camper Rentals:

A deposit of $150.00 must be paid to hold your reservation.  NO refund will be made for this deposit.

A change in arrival date or in length of stay may be made if the administration is advised with 5 full days of advance notice.  An administration fee of $15.00 plus tax per unit will be charged to your credit card.

Cancellation at any time up to the date of arrival:  No refund of the deposit of $150.00 as stated above will be made.

No show without notices or cancellation on the date of arrival: the total fee for your reservation will be charged to your credit card and the unit will be held until 11 am the following day for you, and without notification from you, your camper rental will be cancelled, and the unit will be available to the public to rent.

On arrival, the total amount of your reservation fee must be paid with no possibility of refund should you leave earlier than the specified date on your reservation.

THE INN:

No deposit is required but a valid credit card is necessary as a guarantee.  

Cancellation is possible without a charge if made 48 hours prior to arrival day.  Cancellation in less than 48 hours will result in a 50% charge deducted from your credit card.

NO show or cancellation on the same day as your reservation results in the total amount due for your stay being charged to your credit card.

  Example:  Reservation Friday  

                     No charge – 4 hrs in advance- you have until Tuesday at midnight.

                      50% charge – if you notify us on Wednesday or Thursday.

                      anytime on the same day…Friday arrival…100% will be charged to your credit card.

Note:  Late arrival.  please be sure to call and advise the office staff if you will arrive after normal hours.

On arrival:   The total amount must be paid.   You must respect the rental contract for your room.  The number of occupants must remain the same and no reimbursement will be made should you decide to leave earlier or arrive later than stated.

Arrivals and Departures

Camping sites:  Campers can arrive between 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

                             Campers must leave the site by 1:00 PM on the day their reservation ends.

Rental camper units and the INN

                             Arrival:  between 4:00PM and 8:00 PM

                             Departure:  Rental camper units   between 8:30 am and 11:am by reservation.

                                                   The Inn    Before 11:00 am

Note:  Camper Rental Units:  A Guarantee Deposit of $200.00 is due on arrival with the total amount of your reservation.  After inspection of the camper site and rental unit, the deposit will be refunded. but the campground reserves the right to hold all or a portion of the deposit should the rental unit or the site have breakage or deterioration. Should the unit or site require extra cleaning or maintenance, a charge of $30.00 per hour will be billed to your credit card.

Rules

The cost of a rental site in the campground applies to a family of two adults and their children (Maximum 4) who are under the age of 18-year-old.  Extra people are required to pay the supplemental fee for the time of their stay.

The speed limit of 8 KM Maximum per hour MUST be respected.  If a second notice is required, you will be asked to leave the campground immediately!

Visitors:  On arrival, park in the parking lot (do not block the gate) ad go into the office to pay the required fee as per the rate due for your visit.   A visitor is required to leave no later than 23.00 hours and while visiting, must respect the campground rules…  All campers or Inn residents with visitors are responsible for the actions of their visitors.

With a prior permission of the administration, animals are welcome.   With these restrictions, all animals are not allowed in the Rental trailers, or in the Inn.    The pet must be kept on a leash and walked in public areas (not on Lots).

A pet must not be left unattended and must not be allowed to cause disturbance to the peacefulness of your neighbours.  Pet access to washrooms or the swimming pool or water park area is strictly prohibited.  All pet owners must pick up and dispose of your animal waste properly.

Rental sites and firepots must be kept tidy and clean at all times.  Containers for garbage and for recycling are available for your use on the main street beside the garage.

The pool is free of charge and for use solely by campers or residents of the Inn.

It is forbidden to smoke inside any buildings, including the Inn and rental campers, or in any area of the play park , around the pool, or water park area.   NO use of Cannabis is allowed anywhere in the campground.  (not anywhere beside the lake, on a path, roads, parks, or anywhere on your site).

Fires:  must be in areas designed for campfires.   No campfire should exceed 2 feet in height and must never be left unsupervised.   It is against the rules to move your campfire receptacle.  Before going to bed, you must put out your fire.  WOOD. It is forbidden to cut any trees or branches.

It is not permitted to install a swimming pool or water park ( of any size) on your site.  Water is for household use only.  No washing of cars, trailers etc ..do not waste water!!

Do not park any equipment or vehicle on an empty site.

It is not permitted to plug in an electric Vehicle.  You must use the recharging station ($) to recharge.

ATV or off route vehicles are not allowed in the campground.  Golf carts can be authorized with a medical notice.

All campers and guests must not make excessive noise in respect of others.  Quiet time is 23.00 hours.

Inn residents must not make loud noises in respect of their neighbours. Quiet time is 22.00 hours.

Bicycles, or scooters, etc are not allowed to circulate in the campground after dark.

Do not cut or do anything to damage the trees.

Weapons of any type, guns, pistols, bow and arrows, BB guns, Knives, are not allowed in the campground.  No extreme or hurtful language, swearing or poor behaviour will be tolerated.

Camping Melbourne and its direction will not be held responsible for any accident or injury that may happen on the grounds of the campground or on any site.  Camping Melbourne and its direction are not responsible for any items lost or stolen.  Camping Melbourne and its direction may not be held responsible for any damage caused by loss of electricity (whole or partial) caused by climate or atmospheric conditions, or by falling trees or branches, or by flooding, as well as damage caused by acts of other campers including injury caused by animals of other campers or their guests.

Camping Melbourne reserves the right to refuse entry to any person, guest, or camper at their discretion.

Camping Melbourne reserves the right to expulse without reimbursement anyone whose conduct is deemed undesirable or anyone who does not adhere to the rules and regulations.

Camping Melbourne reserves the right to modify its rules and regulations at any time.
