Description

The only guided river descent center on the Saint-François between Sherbrooke and Drummondville, Canot-kayak Richmond has been in operation since 2005 !! If you have not yet had the opportunity to discover the magnificent landscapes of the St-François river, you will be charmed by the vegetation of its magnificent banks frequented by a very varied wildlife.

Indeed, during the expeditions you could see, among other things, the eagle (bald eagle), the great blue heron, otters, white-tailed deer and many other species still.

We are open from the end of June until the beginning of September. The reception chalet is located at 220 rue Principale Sud and is also accessible by bicycle via the green route. There is a small walking path, picnic areas and parking is free.

We are accessible by exit 88 from Highway 55. Take Route 116 towards Richmond.

At the 1st traffic light, turn right onto Gouin Street and continue to the end and turn right onto Craig Street. Go down rue Craig to the MAXI grocery store and turn left on rue Principale sud. 500 meters further on, you will see, on your right, along the railway line, the reception chalet (small station).
